Credit where credit is due, not a regurgitated old image this time, this is a very worthy APOD

Thanks Guys....NASA gave me the heads-up yesterday.:D
It's been a bitter-sweet week, as RGO also said they couldn't progress my shortlisted entries due time limits on data (but I suspect this will change next year, as I pointed them to the attached Hubble image which took 4 years to acquire)...however...they are using some of my solar images for a display at the RGO Greenwich at present.

A truly heart felt thanks to those that have responded to Mike's post.
Just some background, this is not infact the same image I submitted to the CWAS/Main comp. David has an incredibly keen eye and noted a couple of flaws in that image.
sooo... I went back to the RAW data, and actually read the manual of the stitching software, discovered its limitations, worked around them and did a "Sid" to get literally a seamless result.
APOD's are quirky to be sure. But a tip 'o the hat from none other than NASA is always very cool :)
