I like those blue parts of the image. I think those are nebula or galaxies. I think that the colors seem a little unnatural for the stars and stuff in the Milky Way. So I was wondering what the color settings were on your camera? I guess that some of the white specks in the image was noise, but I'm not sure. My camera is a Pentax ist Ds, so it's not as advanced as your camera.

The blue areas are possibly false colour associated with bright stars, and not unusual with achromatic lenses, or possibly, blue wavelengths associated with some stars. Some of the faint pink areas are possibly nebula. The dark areas may be dust. Star colours are probably not representative, but close - not sure - value the feedback. The image may be a little over saturated.

This is a good starting place for camera settings and astro photography (http://www.astropix.com/) - not specifically Pentax, but can be adapted.
