This is a sharing my experiences thread.
Well the new 3" FT focuser arrived on monday, so i quickly put it together and hooray it fits! last night the better half was over so i was black listed from the tools....
tonight im into it, retuned the eq6 after its rebuild, and presently doing PE runs, lets hope it is all tuned to within a hair :) but a small dissapointment the new 3"ft is taller than the skywatcher OEM... i could put longer collimation screws in, but this will only just get to focus along with bigger and new springs meh, so ill be a choppin the tube.
Off to the prototyping lab i go :)
