Hi all.

Time to let you know about some updates I've made to the site over the past 2 days:

I've added a new project, the Illuminated Finder, to solve the problem of dark crosshairs on a dark sky.

I've added some new images - 3 new Planet images featuring Jupiter and Saturn, 4 new Sun images featuring the massive sunspot AR720, and 2 new Other Astro images featuring the Venus and Mercury conjunction.

I've added some new mini-projects to the Dob Base Mods section, including slew knobs and carry handles.

I've added 2 new clubs (NAS, IAS) to the Club Listing page (contact me if you want your club & info added!)

I've added the New Zealand Astrophotography Workshop to the Upcoming Events page (contact me if you want your upcoming event added!)

I've added a new Observatories sub-menu to the Astronomy in the Community category (contact me to get your observatory added!)

I've added a new Resources menu, with sub-menus (so far) for How-To articles, Files library and Glossary. I need your help with content, please contribute articles, files etc for this section.

In other news, the IceInSpace Forums have really been growing! We've reached and surpassed the milestone of 100 forum members (112 members at time of writing), there's over 500 threads and almost 5000 posts. Word of mouth is starting to spread the news, and there's many more guests visiting every day which is great to see.

Of course there's still room for more, so please, head on over to the forums and sign up (it's fast and free!), and start joining in the discussions with the many other regulars who now call IceInSpace home.

Also in a slight rejiggyment of the forum structure, the "Tips and Techniques" forum has been renamed to "Tips, Techniques, Software and Computers", and there's new forum "Cameras and Photography" for all camera discussions and a place to post your terrestrial photography.

Please check out the IceInSpace Forums and see what all the fuss is about.

I would love to see some stats on posts per hour of the day, I'm sure the majority happen during business hours

Mike,

I should have the Glossary ready for you in a day or two.

How would you like it sent? As an attachment on email?
