Have any of you FS60 owners got a 2" adapter going?

How did you do it ?

robin, i don't have one but when i looked at buying one was told it was 1.25" unless you upgraded the focuser..seems the TV60 has that advantage..but i may be wrong

There isn't one on the adapter chart but I should be able to get something made up although it has some odd threads. It's M55.9 out of the focuser down to M52 out of the Aux Ring then M43 and M36 after the visual adapter. I've seen a 2" ocular to M42 female around so maybe something can be done with that? At least it comes with a 1.25 ocular out of the box :D

Robin - it's easy.

I used a Sky90 50.8mm adapter (TKP35110) which screws onto the FS60-C focuser draw tube directly, or via the CAA which I use.

I then removed about a centimetre off the end of a standard Bintel 2" Quartz Dielectric diagonal so that it had enough in-focus with the CAA fitted. Works a treat, and clear 2" aperture right the way through. The two collar screws on the adapter secure the short diagonal tube very snugly, and the CAA lets you observe with the EP at the optimal angle.

Of course, sky90 parts, it's obvious

Thanks Chris, I'll chase one up :)

i was going to also suggest the borg adapters - contact peter tan in HK, he will know which..might be cheaper than the tak parts

That TAK adapter is under AU$70 and they are all really well made, so another $70 it is :P

I wonder if this would work with an FC-76?
