So there's been this thread here recently about nebula filters (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=52486) and it seems the DGM NPB comes highly recommended. I'm going to get one.

Any comments on their HPOIII and GCE filters too?

The GCE reads like a light pollution filter. I already have the IDAS LPS-P2 which came highly recommend by most reviews I read at the time. Would you stick with what I've got, or would the GCE add much?

And would the HPOIII filter be a good OIII filter or are there more highly recommended ones - bang for buck.

Found this post on Cloudy Nights with some comments by "Mr Filters" David Knisley (http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=telescopes&Number=3362794&Forum=,,,,,,,f32,,,,,,,&Words=gce%20filter&Searchpage=7&Limit=25&Main=3356741&Search=true&where=bodysub&Name=&daterange=1&newerval=1&newertype=y&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post3362794). Reads like he hadn't used the HP version of the OIII at that stage, and had preferred the Lumicon OIII over the non-HP OIII from DGM(?). He mentions that from the specs on the HPOIII it looks like it'll be similar to the Lumicon and Thousand Oaks.

Be a while before I get to test out the DGM OIII I recently bought from Omega. But I have nothing to compare it to so I'll just like it, I expect.

Thanks Eric. Been doing even more reading, and for the amount of visual I do, I think I'll be getting the DGM NPB and the HPOIII instead of the Lumicon. Won't bother with the GCE I think.

Tried to purchase online, but Omega Filters seem to be out of stock. Sent them an email.
