Hi guys and girls,
I was wondering if anyone might know were I could get a filter slide from for my dob ?????? Looking to purchase some filters soon and since I have 2" and 1.25" EP's I was thinking of using a 2" filter slide.

These are the only ones I know of; I've considered getting one but I'd have to move my secondary spider

Try Uncle Ron as well though, his stuff is good, and his service is even better.

You beat me to the punch...I was going to suggest a web visit to Moonlite

I never thought of Moonlite

I have installed a Moonlite Filter slide on my 12" LB.
I had to relocate the spider, for the slide to fit.
Works brilliantly, I now use my filters all the time.

No problems at all Alex.
All standard equipment used. "Just remember to measure twice and cut
once"
A very good piece of advice, given to me.

Peter Read from SDM Telescopes fitted one on the Mary Rose, and I think he would be able to get one in, and even fit it for you if you are prepared to make the drive to Shepparton. They are a great gadget, except in dewy conditions.

Rod & Alex,
If you attach a heater to the Filter slide (like mine) it can be used year round without any dewing problems.
