Seen them before. I think they look like a horrible mess; in photos anyway. Superficially, the design looks like a total gimmick; something you'd expect to see sold on late night infomercials. A simple truss dob looks so much more elegant and sturdy, and with a lot less parts.

The idea is there, but something that is foldable should or will have weaknesses somewhere in the design, I would say the weakness is in the truss design and the Alt wheels. I think you would spend a good 5-10mins setting up, another 10 to collimate then as long as there is NO wind around, observe.

But if I was given a chance to own one, I wouldn't pass it up.
