G'day Y'all
I'm tossing about  either getting the WO 0.8X Reducer/Field Flattener V. III,
http://www.williamoptics.com/accessories/images/flat3_01.jpg
or the Tele Vue 0.8X Reducer/Flattener
http://www.buytelescopes.com/products/images/1126.jpg

Any help :help: (performance wise) experience in this area would be appreciated

THe Hutech #7887 cannot be beat as it is adjustable for focal length so it will do for any FL from 500mm to 900mm. It is not cheap but you will never buy another FR/FF unless it is an Astro Physics and you will need an Astro Physics focuser to use it.

What scope? I have a TMB/Lomo lensed 80 f6, and almost all you ask say "only the TV 0.8x works". I have one and indeed it does, but the native 480mm becomes about 380mm, and while the odd wide field is nice, it isn't what I wanted. All I wanted was round stars.
I have of late been using the humble MPCC from Baader, and initially it didn't do the business. But since I now have the Feather Touch in place, the optical axis is again square (cheap original focuser drooped), and I also have a custom built spacer, to give me the exact distance reducer to chip.
Maybe factor the MPCC into the equation as well, at least try one.
