hi all! i have just got a new 12" lightbridge, and all is going quite smoothly, except for one strange problem.

i can't get my 26mm and 32mm eyepieces to focus. they're both 2"ers and i put the correct sized holding thingy in the focuser, but the focuser hits it's limit before i can get a clear image... my 1 & a quater" eyepiece focus fine...

any suggestions? with any luck, it'll be something really stupid...

Its been a while but I think the 26mm needed to sit about 5mm or so out of the focuser to come to focus.

Hi SF,
There are two screws on the lower side of the focuser.
The one closer to the tube is the focuser lock, make sure that it's unscrewed about half way.
This will allow the tube to travel approx 10-15mm further out and allowing your e/p's to come to focus.

Yes, just don't set the EP all the way in. What do you thionk of the Meade 26 mm QX? I think it is great - call it my "Cluster buster":D Quite a few people in this forum don't rate it much:mad2:
