View Full Version here: : Small Fast Refractor
This looks fantastic - does anybody know where I can get one of these?
It appears to be very portable and well suited to heavily light polluted skies.

Hi,
I think these days you can do far better for your money. Say 200 AUD for a short tube 80mm Saxon and maybe 300 AUD for a fully goto ioptron mount. It's only my opinion but the aperture of that scope is tiny and the mount looks very wobbly.

Looks like a good scope for indoor use ;) I have a few boxes of averted vision if you need them :D

I've bookmarked that review. It's a rare pleasure to see one treat the test in such an objective manner. I'd use the Tak to guide one of these Fisher Price scopes - IF I can ever get to buy one. I think they sound so good that you'd probably never see one for sale though.
To all those lucky current owners out there..... die, die, die!!!!! :wink2:
If you were real lucky maybe they would agree to swap it for the Tak.

I've never seen them do a review like that before - who would have guessed they had a sense of humour? I especially liked the well baffled tube and mating it to the Losmandy mount :)
Now that latest model, is a real peace of work. love to get my hands on one.
