Once more to the fount i go. Got the manual and a down load on how to collimate. I am having a plate made so i can wed the celestron scope to the Meade mount and wedge. I am cleaning and checking things so progress is being made.

However once i mount it how do I balance it. It did not come with weights so i am guessing it has to be ballanced through the fork mount but just how to do this I have no idea. Any and all suggestions greatly accepted.

I have no idea but that never stops me making a comment:lol::lol::lol:...
Would you not have to balance the scope within the fork mount so it sits "nuetral"

Usually, there is a metal rail fitted on underside of SCT and different weighs can be attached to it and slide forth and back to achieve balance.
In Philippine it would be much cheaper to have one made locally.

That is one of the things that was not in the box. Plus you are right that it will be cheaper to have one built rather than have one shipped in.

thanks, Brian
