Andrews Big Binos - any views?

I notice that Andrews are advertising a 22x100 binocular at a very interesting price price.

These are also marketed under the brand Oberwerk and bigbinoculars also sell these in the states.So you should be able to track down reviews on them.

I have the 20x80 triplet binos and there very well colour corrected .
The best part to all the Chinese units sold by Andrews is they all have the full level four coatings on all prisims and lens surfaces .Fully multi coated.
Some stores sell the same units with lower coatings levels down to level 1 .
The level 4 coatings are actually a fair bulk of the pricing .

I just wish they did a 20x100 triplet
with out going to the big expensive mounted units..
The advantage of the triplet lens is it allows the objectives to be f4 instead of the usualy f5 and hence there shorter and lighter.

There all able to be collimated by the user as well just in case.

There no Fujicons but there good value .

Like Mark I have the 20x80 triplets , i purchased mine through AOE {nicley outfitted with a carry case btw}, great value i believe and perform very well .....couple of things though the outer casing near the objectives are plastic and there is some flaring when a bright object is just outside the FOV. Apart from the flaring the views are very good with no noticable CA or other aberrations except maybe a a little curvature near the edge of FOV. If you decide on the larger 22x100 or maybe the 20x80s youll have to factor in a decent camera tripod in to the equation as well {i use a manfrotto 920cl , its good but the next one up the 055 would have been sweet}.
