The "Custom User Titles" is the title beneath your name on the left-hand-side.
I've modified the forums so that you can change your custom user title if:
a) You have been registered for more than 1 day, and
b) You have made more than 5 posts.
To edit your custom user title, click on "profile" up in the top right hand corner (or click here (http://www.iceinspace.com/forum/usercp.php), then click "Edit profile" (2nd option along), and halfway down the page you'll see "custom user title".
Enter your text, and whalla, you're done!
