I also did this late last night after the Cartwheel. Just 30 mins on this one as I was getting tired
3x10 mins ISO200, uv/ir filter MPCC. Modded 350D on 10 inch f5.6 newtonian

I will re image it when I can with much longer imaging time and UHCS filter because Ive just seen this pic

That sounds challenging Scott, great shot love the colour blue in PN and Nebs.
A very interesting looking planetary Scott, I'll be looking forward to this one when you have taken longer images.

Yes its large and diffuse, a bit like a comet. I could see it (just) in the viewfinder. Would be worth putting an eyepiece on and having a proper look

Very strange object... nice one to pick and see what you can get :thumbsup: That bit of illusive red would be nice to get :)
Considering the difference in equipment, your shot is pretty good .. there's not much more structure in the blue visible in that other image.

Thanks Scott for a fine image. I find N1360 is best seen with low power and it's easy to see in 20x80s.
