Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I enjoy looking at nice sharp , contrasty images and would love to be able to take a photo of them as well.
Images or as its called visual viewing is great because you can share with friends.......for photos , I would be using a Canon 300D......Un-modified, more than likely up to 30 seconds per exposure, with multiple shots at the decided exposure time.

Why settle for the WO110?
Go the 130mm - you know you do/you need/you want.
Thought about the 110 myself and its tempting now the SAU to $US is so good.

You could always build your own (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150175987017). :)
Takahashi FSQ-106ED (530mm F/5) is the premium instrument in the 4" range. There is something very special about the flat field modified petzval design (quadruplet). It’s good for visual and excellent for astrophotography. If money is an issue, you could always go with its cheaper sibling (from a design perspective) - Pentax 100 SDUF II (400mm F/4). It has a similar objective composition to the FSQ - 2 x 2 widely space element sets. Both are fast astrographs that will deliver pinpoint stars to the edge of most demanding large format chips - they each have 88mm image circle sizes.
