Saw this on Cloudy Nights Forum, looks handy...

...if it works!

A few Cloudy Nighters swear by it - very interesting!

Hi Doug,
I have one (Stiletto IV) and used it last night with my ED80 and Canon 400D to focus on the moon. It's easy to use and seems to work quite well. The guy who sells them is very helpful and easy to deal with.

Hi Stephan,
Do you have the standard or deluxe model?
How much did it cost total from the states?

You really can see the effects of critical focussing on your lunar shots.

Hi Doug,
Thanks! I have the deluxe model. All up it was $229 + $29 shipping in USD. When I first received it, I would first focus using the Stiletto. I would then install the camera and try and tweaking the focus. I ended up with the same settings as the Stiletto, except the Stiletto achieved focus in about 15 seconds while I would mess around for 5 - 10 minutes :(

cheers,
Stephen
