Hi all,

I've made some changes to your profiles.

Your coordinates are now set through a drop-down list of DēM'S"
Or
By the use of a geolocator. This is the easier option. Search for your street address and it will find your coordinates. You can also drag the marker (or double-click on the map) to tweak the result.

Also I've added a privacy option. You can elect to omit the seconds value of your coordinates from being displayed in public.

Please let me know if you have any problems.

cheers.

oops. Thanks.

Paul?

Nothing's changed there. Maybe you're too close to another "dot" to see yourself?

It's getting a little congested these days. Originally when I wrote it, there weren't very many people and you could actually find yourself on it. It's more an overview of member locations these days

You're under under astropaul or DarkEyes. Like I said, it's an "overview" these days :)

Many thanks Terry. It seems the "reds" are taking over the earth (and some of the oceans as well  )

Unfortunately the IceMAP (zoomable) is low on the list of priorities of things that Terry needs to spend time on.

Maybe in the future.. when he's out of work :)

Judging by the spread of members on the worldwide map, IIS world domination appears to be close at hand.

yup the IIS moto: "today newcastle... tomorrow the world!!! (insert evil laugh)" :)

notice there are still some people who reside in the middle of the pacific ocean..the skies must be really dark there, so it must be hard to move to land

Yeah *sigh* It's somewhere on the TODO list Vingster...

heh. Indeed. Without checking, most of the people off the coast of Japan are probably Australian. And most of the people in Russia are probably Americans. Which is why I thought it was time to make the entries somewhat fool-proof. The little map of the world showing what hemisphere you've selected, isn't just for aesthetics.

(The New Zealanders and Europeans seem to be the only ones who get it right.)
