LX90 Wedge to Alt/AZ Switch

Hi All,

For those of you that are experienced Wedge users, how easy or difficult is it to switch from Wedge to Alt/Az mode? Is there a way to use Alt/Az mode on the wedge itself?

The switch is a bit of a hassle, as you have to unbolt the wedge adaptor plate from the bottom of your LX90 to mount it in alt/az, then bolt it back on when you go back to polar. Attaching and removing the wedge is quick enough, but you'll never have very good polar alignment this way.
I bonded 3 big washers onto my driveway, so the bottom of the tripod legs always plugged back into the same spot. Once you've got your polar alignment set, it should stay pretty close.
