Have just recieved my 10:1 craford focuser for SCT made by GSO and rebadged for Bintel. Must have been the first one out of the blocks. I also have a WO SCT focuser and the obvious question is - "How do they compare"? To be serious I would be hard pressed to pick between them. There are very small differences, like WO has slightly larger screws for locking things down while the GSO model uses 2 screws underneath for 1) locking the focuser down and 2) for adjusting the tension. In the WO the latter is done using an allen key - less likely to accidentally change, but fiddly to do.
Which do I prefer? - to be honest the GSO model - there is little I can see in the quality of manufacture but a big difference in price.
Thought this may interest some others.

Wow, that is interesting.

GSO are doing some great stuff for budget astronomy lately.
