Time for the 1/2 yearly visit from one of Australia's fleet to Devonport, Tasmania.
This one needs a bit of TLC, and will probably get it once it gets home.
A 3 day lay-over for purposes never mentioned.

Yes they all need a bit of work Trevor , I am currently working on a refit of the HMAS Toowoomba FFN 156 , a fun job ,,, not ! .

But they are great ships still and as I worked on building 10 of these Anzac class frigates for the Australian and New Zealand navies in the mid 90's through to the mid 2000's I have a soft spot for them , it was a great job building these with good job satisfaction .

What an interesting workplace to have Brian.
I thought it was a good looking ship. Doesn't actually look as menacing as it's armaments load makes it, which is a nice comparison to some war ships I've seen, which definitely do look menacing.
