A spectacular sight but the boat seemed to be quite close to the whales, much closer than the exclusion zone mandated for around here. I wonder if the proximity of the whale watching boat may have spooked the 3 whales.

The more I've watched the footage, the more it seems that the whales were putting on a show for the people.

As its Nova Scotia (Canada) they probably have different regulations. We here are too nanny state.
