Does anyone know when the next Space X Falcon Heavy is due to launch ?
The local Florida news sites mention October or early November but there’s nothing on the Space X site
I visited the Kennedy Space Centre back in July which took us past the Space X facility a few times but I didn’t see much activity let alone rocket hardware , gantries etc...

The next Falcon Heavy is suppose to be taking military satellites into low earth orbit for experimental purposes or something like that

All the hype about the first Falcon Heavy mission paving the way for mankinds future interplanetary space travel and taking over where Apollo left off is a bit of a sales pitch from Space X

Come on Blue Origin get your act together and get your Heavy lifter into space before Space X
Lets get the next “Space Race” going again like the incredible days of Apollo !!

There was a story in the last few days that SpaceX is now focused on getting the BFR launched and has dropped any further use of the Falcon Heavy, they can accommodate booked payloads on the Falcon 9.. SpaceX has sold a BFR launch to the Japanese billionaire for his lunar joyride, this helps with the BFR development. I believe the BFR is almost ready now. It is being built near LA and will be shipped to the launch site by barge.
BFR is the multi-purpose platform, being able to be configured as everything from a refueling tanker to a Mars vehicle. By having just one configurable vehicle they can fulfill many roles at minimal conversion cost.
