How clever is that (https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/blog/simple-mounting-of-a-cdk-125-on-gm-2000-hps/)? Never thought about it with my C11 which is becoming really heavy now to lift over my head to slide on the G11 dovetail.

People have been doing that with Edge 14” for years ;)

Do you want me to ban him now Marc, or later, when he's not watching?

Want me to tell you what he said about YOU when we met last weekend? Rethink your ban :P (for a $100 silence bribe)

Marc do you have a top accessory bar on yours ? and the saddle is it a tip in ? both make handling much easier .

I have it inside parallax rings with top and bottom bars so no problem grabbing it. It's lifting on my shoulder then doing an épaulé-jeté while aiming for the rail profile to slide it in. So far I got lucky but it's getting harder.

Ah ok my saddle i can rest it on the edge and tip it in no sliding .

Ha yeah that would be easier. I like this idea of moving the mount into it. I'll have to work it out, or get some roadies.

or get some muscles :) I think you can get after market saddle that allows tip like the AP one does.

See, this is where daughters come in handy. Help decrepit fathers.

Mine are a little short at the moment though, darn it. Minion helpers...

That was 7 years ago now though.... ..and was essentially a $10K overhead lift :scared:
