M22 GS Cluster

It was getting late around 1.30am , the moon was 90%waning at 50deg or so in the west but I thought what the heck I’ll give M22 a go before turning in
40 x 40 sec subs
15 x darks
No flats
Unguided
6” f6 newt on HEQ5
Canon 600D stock
Moon glare maxing out
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools

Your going that little extra has been rewarded with very nice captures. Try a dew tube extention on your scope to shield stray light.
I use a baffled tube which seems to help.
My old six had baffles all down the tube with a two and a half foot baffled dew tube ...

Good idea about the shield ,I just checked Bunnings website and they have cheap plastic buckets 165mm dia and 320mm long, I could cut the end out of it,spray the inside Matt black and fit some fibre spacing for a snug fit on the end of the scope
