Quite a pretty little cluster of stars surround this galaxy, which is a bit off the beaten track.

Seeing has been terrible here lately, and I'm struggling to get my Mach 1 to behave which isn't helping matters, so this is about the best I can do at the moment. Not up to my usual standards in terms of sharpness, but surprisingly it does compare reasonably well to The Carnegie-Irvine Galaxy Survey (CGS) version (https://cgs.obs.carnegiescience.edu/CGS/object_html_pages/NGC7090.html) which I believe was taken with the the 2.5m du Pont scope in Chile (https://obs.carnegiescience.edu/dupont).

This is just over 12.5hrs of data, using 120s exposures (due to the misbehaving mount).

Nice one!

Have to say I am really digging all the obscure southern galaxy images put up of late.

Nice Lee, one I have not seen yet and now will put it on my list. Great colour saturation.
