Following in the wake of M&T's splendid lead I had gathered a few luminance crumbs
that they had not vacuumed up in the 0.5 metre , and captured some a few nights ago with my paltry 0.4 metre
....another hour or five should clean up the noise :)

Resolution is pretty tidy so far. The link is 'ere (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery439.html)

A splendid result Peter. Extremely tight. It is interesting that pretty well every distant faint and tiny-on-the-sky galaxy we found in 40 hours of exposure you found in 90 min.

We're surprised you were able to do adaptive optics. The western half of the field in particular is just about devoid of usable guide stars. If our observatory gets hit by lightning and we have to start again, we're going to have to investigate AO.

Thanks. I think the seeing helped.

Thanks guys. Don't wait...life is too short. an An AO-X and CDK20....hummm

Ta. RGB will happen. just not sure when, as the moon is getting a little full now.

Nah, no shootout.
My suburban skies put a firm limit on what I can do...that said, we are looking at a possible move away from the big smoke...well...maybe.

Well, while it won’t be a Chart 32 image (and, yes, I think these are in a different league.....soooooo much fine detail...hard to put a price on that and makes about as much sense as saying a Daewoo can almost keep pace with a Ferrari 488...it can’t ;) ) if the weather holds, hopefully some Ha + RGB will let me finally cross it off my to-do list.

Ta Marc. Colour is planned.

Thanks...Sorry...been busy with other projects..but happy to upload my shabby efforts from time to time :)
