(Didn't want to necro a thread that had so many people in turmoil, so I thought I'd start a new one here)
Was cruising around the web and found https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/global-maps. (https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/global-maps)
You can compare two maps together by clicking on "Show all maps" and then adding another map to your first selection.
For example... Fire Only (https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/global-maps/MOD14A1_M_FIRE)
Fire + Carbon Dioxide (https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/global-maps/MOD14A1_M_FIRE/MOP_CO_M)
Water Vapor + Carbon Dioxide (https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/global-maps/MYDAL2_M_SKY_WV/MOP_CO_M)
