Finally managed to get something reasonable of Mars, from Thornbury, Melbourne.
The dust has really settled in the last couple of weeks https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/feb/2/16/1f642.png

Skywatcher 14" goto Dobsonian, ZWO ASI290MC, Teleview 2.5x Powermate. 60 seconds, captured using FireCapture, stacked in Astrostackert, and then wavelets adjusted in Registax.

Still got lots to learn, but I'm pretty pleased with this image.

Thanks everyone. I've been hard pressed to find some time when the skies were clear and I had an opportunity to get outside.
Glad it finally came together before Mars got too small :-)
