Back for a few days from QLD astrofest. I'll be back there on Thursday morning. While I don't have any finished images from the main set up (want more data), I did finish this quick one night shot of the milky way using the 5D and 50mm lens.

40 images at 3min ISO6400 stacked and processed in photoshop.

Apparently theres a comet in there too on the bottom of the image, I've also attached a 100% crop of the comet. I believe Colin Drescher identified it as C/2018 N1 (NEOWISE).

FULL RES ASTROBIN (https://www.astrobin.com/full/360042/0/?nc=user) don't look too closely tho :P

No, its just the standard 5D.

Really? The emission nebs are so red.

My 5DII and 5DIV paint such a different picture :shrug:
