Lagoon and Omega nebs

last Thursday night got the Lagoon Nebula, 8 x 10 mins in really awful skies full of dust and smoke, even the brightest part of the milky way was barely visible.

Earlier tonight got the Omega nebula in darker skies though according to cloudfreenight the jetstream was roaring overhead, despite careful focusing stars a bit larger then I can get normally. Longer subs, 6 x 15 minutes

Thanks all. Processing is half the battle after getting the data to start with. Initial processing in IRIS then finishing off in photoshop seems to work best for me. Having polar alignment so accurate that DEC adjustments are hardly needed even on 10 or 15 minute sub's makes hand guiding that much easier too. https://www.sharpcap.co.uk/sharpcap/features/polar-alignment

My Mount sits on reactive clay so alignment changes over just a few nights.

Thanks, it is a bit of guesswork on ho far to move the sliders when processing so as not to over saturate, or not enough to get good colour :)
