Hi Glen
I only now became aware of your situation.
Yesterday would have been one of the few days I did not look at whats for sale...I was busy playing with new stuff.
I certainly hope everything turns out well for you.
They can give one a fright thats for sure.
But dont over react.
Apart from avoiding mowing the lawns, which is a great benefit to exploit after an attack, dont let it scare you too much.
I had one years ago and it caused me to become very timid and I actually gave up drinking and smoking for a while.
If there is anything I can do let me know as it would be no trouble to call by on one of my trips North on the way there or back.
No lawns however.

Thanks everyone. Still very weak, and stuck at my daughter's house for now. Rehab starts on the 17th. Incredible cocktail of drugs now, probably for life.

Hi Glen,

Wishing you a speedy recovery mate.

What's involved in rehab for this condition?

Cheers,

All the best Glen for a speedy recovery!

Unfortunately I'm right there with you. Massive chest pain, ambulance, ER, cardiologist, pills, angiograms, major blockages. All sucks! Stupid body!

Hi Glen,
Best wishes for a speedy recovery mate.
Take care, and follow doctors' advice.
But don't stop having fun.
That's when you get old, they say.

As I said before, let me know if I can help at all with anything.

Glen,

your previous post was archived, which meant it is closed to replies.

I just want to wish you a speedy, quick, and good recovery.

IIS is like most forums - ask a question and you get a multitude of opinions. Some useful, some way out to left field, and some are direct and answer the question.

Your posts are in the third category, always expressing a sensible and relevant point of view. I always read your posts with interest, your experience is worth listening to.

So all the best for getting better, and please don't step away from this wonderful interest we all share.

Regards Phil
