For those who still use the Synscan handcontroller let me know if the following happens with your set up

When starting the next nights session from the park position , I press 1 ( resume the mount from the park position) I then want to carry out a polar alignment routine to improve my PA from that of the previous night, the polar alignment feature is not shown in the menu, only 1,2,3 Star alignment, cone error, etc...
In order to find the Polar Alignment feature I then have to do another Star alignment and after that it appears in the menu as “Polar Alignment”

This seems counterintuitive as the mounts Star alignment and polar alignment data should be saved from the previous nights session therefore it should not restrict you from performing another PA

Any thoughts on this , am I missing something, does anyone else experience this issue ??

Thanks in advance

I reckon it makes sense. If you resume from park then the assumption is that the polar alignment hasn't changed. If you suspect it has for whatever reason then the amount of misalignment isn't known and needs to be determined – via a 2- or 3-star alignment.
