Off the beaten track, this small planetary nebula is located in Sagittarius. It has a couple of interesting lobes which I suppose were part of the first ejection of material as the star entered its planetary phase.

I also note there is a small planetary at the bottom of the image (small blue blob), not on any catalogue I have. Perhaps another possible discovery .

That's a very pretty planetary Paul. Not one I'm familiar with. You've captured some impressive detail.

Cheers

Thanks guys, it is a fairly non-descript part of the sky which holds little interest. The little PN is catalogued (I had it checked by my PN search partner in the US), with it being only discovered in 2001.

That's really cool with the little pn and all.

The red lobes are pretty faint you captured them well, great result.

John.
