Got the trifecta yesterday. but had to stay up late as my west facing balcony can only see up to about 60degrees SW-NW. Been to cold to go into backyard.

Posted Saturn already which showed 2x barlow was feesable for the night. So went ahead on Mars for first time this season with 2x barlow. Saturn I processed with Astraimage , for Mars turned to Pixinsight to see what I could do.

Very good result for 125mm. Strangely enough, with the dust and the faint detail poking through, it looks reminiscent of those early canal drawings of Lowell.

Good image 'netwolf' the markings stand out well, I wonder if the dust is settling ?
