Thanks wish I could but East and West horizons still have suspiciously flattened neighbors trees in the way :P

Very nice collection.

At first I thought the little guy in the middle was mercury then I realised it must be a jovian moon.

Lol yeah it just squeezed in there and see I need a better planetary scope 😊

And people say that the large CO of an RC makes it a poor planetary scope ;)
I was looking at Mars 20 minutes ago and it didn’t look anywhere near as nice as your image. No ice caps and just detailness from the dust.

Just lacks a bit of contrast when looking thru it that's all imho. I could see the polar caps quite well but that's all now....damn dust. Crazy to think we are complaining about the weather on another planet lol

Your images are amazing, and i was thinking about an RC as one of options for planetary imaging [not visual], but all keep pushing me to SCT only, not even a dob or Newtonian, and i can't afford over $4000 SCT which also needs another mount costly.

I wouldnt get it just for planets but there is no reason you cant use it and you can use a Dob with tracking or a Newt which needs a bigger barlow thats all . Just get what you will use the most and start small
