IC4628 and NGC6231 taken last night unguided with the RASA and ASI071. 30 sec and 60 sec shots. very roughly processed will redo later and the prawn may not be basted to taste for some, as i don't eat prawns the chefs discretion was used

what surprised me the most was i didn't recognise it as it was way more deeper than i ever have imaged it before and this was my best effort back in 2010 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=62332&highlight=prawn)

Lovely image Dave!

It’s a difficult one to do in RGB I’ve found, it just doesn’t have the colour variation of narrowband. Speaking of which, I’ve got some old data that I should revisit!

Your 2010 shot with the ED127 wasn't too bad either. The colours (processing) with the RASA seem a bit over-saturated by comparison?

Probably is

That's a very good widefield vista with a lovely glob there.

Nicely done David! Really liking all the background nebulosity you've managed to bring out.

That's what I thought when framing it. I am lazy though as I should have rotated the camera but I haven't so have been using the same flats for all images so far

For a OSC I am getting blown away with what I am getting in the city with this setup
