Aperture fever has struck again and I’m looking to offload my 16” Skywatcher Goto dobsonian telescope.
Purchased in December 2016 it currently has more than 3 years left of a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty. Comes with a light shroud and home-made melamine half-box with tiedown straps and original foam packing inserts for secure OTA transport.
Has a few very minor cosmetic marks on the MDF base structure, but nothing that affects the OTA or optics, which are in spotless condition.
Has a standard 9x50 finderscope but I can also throw in a 90° finderscope as well, plus a couple of fairly standard plossl eyepieces if you’re interested.
Pick up in Tanah Merah south of Brisbane, or I can drive an hour or so somewhere if required. Postage at buyer’s cost, but I think this would be prohibitively expensive.
