Always wanted a crack at this one - probably really needs a dark site but here we go anyway!
2 panel mosaic of the Sagittarius Star Cloud & friends in Ha - RGB to follow when the weather permits!
Looks like a fish's face in profile - well it does to me anyway! :D

Really interesting Andy, not a region I've seen like that before. Down around the bottom it looks like there is a cosmic hand reaching out :)

Fish face eh? I can sort of see it (I think).

Very nice - I think I recognise the region from wide-field images (not that far from M16 & M17) although I don't think I've never seen it in such stark contrast.

Very nice - looking forward to the RGB addition down the track.

Thanks Suavi, the little SV70T certainly punches above it's weight!
It's brought home three APOD's and a shortlisted Malin finalist this year, amazing bang for the buck :)



Cheers Trev, that fish is swimming through the starfield (see pic below), will be interesting to see if I can do justice to the RGB from home.
Otherwise it may have to wait until the Gods allow the alignment of a dark site, clear sky, family commitments etc. :)
