Took this last night, tough ask from my light polluted site. 14 x 10 mins ISO200, modded 350D no filters so near IR light recorded as well, 10 inch f5.6 hand guided.

Light pollution is the real killer of deep sky contrast :/
You've managed a good job on a faint object.

Lovely!!!
Been doing this myself for a few outings now - only get around 1hr at a time given my trees. It actually responds quite well to the 8300 CCD chip - better than I expected, and given the amount of background noise still, it's brighter than I thought.
Gonna be a long time till I show mine. Might not even get 8hrs this season before its too late for me.

Thanks all. Light pollution sure is a pain, here is a single 10 minute ISO200 sub. Thank goodness flatfielding removes the dust bunnies. I cleaned the sensor the next day.
To try and get some advantage over the light pollution I didnt use the UV/IR filter, the Hutech modded 350D only has clear AR coated glass on the sensor, thus allowing near infrared light in as well, adding slightly to the exposures.

Looks good, Scott, despite the LP.
