The Fighting Dragons of Ara at Stargazing Live

Hi all,

A few days ago I got totally unexpected news - Lord Major Graham Quirk selected the Fightng Dragins of Ara as the main theme for the William Jolly Bridge lit up next week. I'm humbled that my attempts at astrophotography will help to promote astronomy. One can ask for no more.

Marc - my 3nm Astrodons thrive in light pollution :lol: however, I select a unique colour palette for my narrowband images that actually absorbs unwanted light...:D

They asked me for one of mine (https://open.abc.net.au/explore/184272) too but I was over seas and couldn't send them the big high res file until I returned (yesterday) so I was probably too late :sadeyes:

Just sharing some nice news - it has been confirmed that in a few days this image will be used at Swinburne University's Open Day in Melbourne to promote astronomy and the courses run by the Swinburne University.
