Hi all,

I know I have been relatively quiet on the images forum for quite some time...

Nonetheless, I finally got a chance to test darker costal skies in North-Central Queensland.

The first image is an old favourite - the Centaurus A galaxy.

Just under 6 hours of 10 minute subs with a 105 mm refractor, lightly processed.

If it looks that nice up close, can you post the full frame? Does it cover the galaxy cluster close by too?

Thank you Rick. I may yet dig out my old Ha data for this object ;)

Glad you like it Greg.

Thank you Lewis. Full frame Luminance: https://www.astrobin.com/full/346437/C/?nc=user

Thank you Colin. I see now quite clearly how aperture limits the resolution...

Thank you Tim. I used to live in Ingham, so this is a kind of returning to home... :)
