Just watched the SpaceX launch of the TESS mission. It has an interesting orbit, way out from Earth. The Falcon 9 second stage boosted it to 600kms high and released it over Western Australia, climbing away from Earth. Good video all the way, worth watching. Apparently TESS is doing a lunar flyby to position it in its 232K mile high orbit for operation of the mission.
E Musk apparently messaged about bringing the second stage back using a large drag balloon and a "Catcher Ship", I would like to see that!
