Fuse size DC charger Celestron CPC 925

Hi,

Could someone please advise the correct fuse for the DC cig plug charger. The fuse was missing after it had previously blown years back and I can't remember what it was....

It will be running of a separate car battery.

Not sure if you have already found your answer.
I googled the CPC manual and its DC requirements are 12V 1.5A (tip positive), so I would say a 2 or 3A fuse will be OK and should cover any switch on surges.
