Using the SS SM60/ ED80/ BF15 combo.

Resolution and performance look good - 19 fps at full frame (5496 x 3672) and an impressive 40 fps at an ROI similar to the ASI 178 (3000 x 2080)

Using FireCapture V2.6x64.
Quiet sun with small proms. Processed in AS!3, Registax6, PSP7.

No Newton Rings!!

So far so good.

I have for a while been considering the QHY variant of this one for an 85mm & 135mm lens :)

Yeah,
It actual performs straight out the box.

I think the USB3, MSI i7, 16Gb RAM, the 1 Tb SSD drive and the ASI 183 will work well together!

The 26 sec SER file collected 495 frames, 9.8 Gb:eyepop:

Took 13.7 mins to process in AS3!, and the resulting "Full frame" image was 38Mb.
