Out of interest do they sell these in Australia? I bought a second hand SW 180 , removed the dovetail bar and added tube rings and it works very well for lunar photography.

There are a few of these Saxon 8" maks in australia, I can recall Astro Optical had one in the window when the shop was in Clarke St and that's going back at least 12-15 years.

From memory they are f/20 and quite likely same origin as one sold by Orion UK.

Also one appeared for sale here on IIS a couple of years ago.
