Tried an Ha RGB image of Gabriela Mistral. About 3 hours of Ha and 1 hour each of RGB with an ASI1600MM-C on an RC8 and EQ6.
Used a bit of luminance from the RGB data to bring the stars out a little bit more than the Ha alone would allow.

Ok...so it's really part of the ETA CARINA nebula.
So that's a good thing.
Even better are the lovely tight stars in this image. Well done !:thumbsup:

Nice, probably my favourite bit of this nebula complex, even better than the Keyhole :)

As a pure narrowband fiend who struggles mightily with straight RGB nebulae, it's taken me a while to come round to this image, but I keep seeing the thumbnail, and thinking, "that's pretty; that's very pretty".
It's a lovely image.
Best,
Mike

Thanks Mike.
Thank you Mike. Perhaps it's the narrowband luminance that lured you in - not too far off pure narrowband!
