Hi Guys

Well,Its a new RC12 from Bintel and a new shot with It but, certainly not a new object.

Hasn't been a totally problem free setup with main mirror movement, camera tilt(I hate tilt adjusting CCD's)and tweaking MX+ for the heavier load but I think It's starting to show some potential now.

Exposures: 5 hrs Ha

Object: Key Hole (NGC 3372)

Scope: RC 12

Camera: SXVR H16

Mount: MX+/guided ONAG

Software: SkyX Pro/AA5/CC

Ass Kicking Welcomed!

No arse kicking required Louie, looks pretty good to me, if that's just a test image, it's got lot's'a potential for sure

I was shooting this (albeit with a sliiightly larger field of view :P) this morning too...finished the run on the current project and had a couple 'a hours up my sleeve, there was a 1/2 moon up but it was high and...well, meah..what tha heck..a big Ha field on the way:eyepop:

Looking forward to some more shots with ya new rig.

Mike

Must have had some great seeing that night!

I was puzzled about the orientation though, something was just not right, I was sure God was left handed when he gave us that finger ... not on your image.
Then it dawned to me

You have an extra mirror in the setup! Will have to remember to do do an image flip at the end of the processing...

As you say just a smidge of tuning to do, but nicely done, with very tidy resolution on the fickle finger and narrow field details.

I can't see any issues at all on this image Louie, looks good to me. The RC 12's rise to the occasion again. I look forward to your imaging with this scope.
