Unlike many, Eastern Melbourne was spared the cloud cover last night and it cleared in Maribyrnong just in time.

It wasn't a blue Moon last night, for me, as the Full Moon occurred after midnight, but by inverting the image I made it so.

During totality I had at least two aircraft pass in front of the Moon.

That looks great. I notice there were a lot more stars in the background compared to the last one.

Marc,

As the eclipse progressed the exposures went from 1/100 sec up to 30 secs.

With the longer exposures quite a few of the brighter background stars became visible and as I was tracking on the Moon are short streaks.

It was certainly one of the darkest Total eclipses I have seen.

Nice one

P.S.
I'm certain just the one aircraft trail is in the picture. The spacing is too perfect. Starboard nav light plus a couple of wing lights. ;)

Peter,

I didn't mean to imply both were in the image, just that I observed two passing in front during totality. There are six lights visible and I thought it looked interesting.
