This can be used on your Skywatcher EQ mount with a PC or Laptop , for controlling your mount through Skysafari thats if you would like to use this terrific program...never used this item myself but someone may want to...looks good ..and made in Germany!

PS: You need to choose the correct one for your
particular mount.Eq3 to Eq6 and Az...in the Mount and accessories section... Page Translator at top right there...NOT for Apple.

Better: the SkyFi is available locally from Bintel for about the same, and is powered from the mount.

And it works with SkySafari on macs and iOS devices, as well. The catch unfortunately is the Skywatcher iOS app just replicates the Synscan handset, which is a BIG minus.
